India tour of England (3rd ODI)

Kohli's 71 top score as India crawl to 256

Adil Rashid bowled Kohli with a jaffa in the 31st over.

The Indian fans, on most occasions, ensure the Indian team doesn't miss the feeling of playing in front of a home crowd. With the series locked at 1-1, the curator at Headingley, aided by the extremely dry summer in the United Kingdom, too decided to be hospitable and produced a track with plenty of help for the spinners. The ingredients were right there for Virat Kohli's side to flourish.
And as a result, India were expected to flourish. They did, in patches, but also struggled and stuttered their way to 256 for 8. The average score at the venue has been 298 in the last five years, which leaves the visitors 42 short of the par score. But with the kind of form Kuldeep Yadav has shown, Virat Kohli and his batch of 2018 will be confident of inflicting the second series loss of the tour on England.

Root, Morgan punish pedestrian India; England win series

England chased down 256 with eight wickets in hand to take the ODI series 2-1.

Adil Rashid, Joe Root and Eoin Morgan collaborated to end India's unbeaten run in bilateral ODI series' as England cruised to an eight-wicket in the third and final match in Leeds on Tuesday (July 17). India's run of nine series wins ended with a poor show from the batsmen, a lethargic performance by the fielders and in the end, just when it mattered the most, India's wrist spinners failed to live up to the expectations. Set 257, it took the hosts just 44.3 overs to polish the target off.
It was Rashid who turned the tide in England's favour. The legspinner dismissed Virat Kohli for 71 in the 31st over and then picked up Suresh Raina to put England on top. From there on, it was a struggle. MS Dhoni struggled, Hardik Pandya failed to get going as India crawled to a well below-par total.

INDIA TOUR OF ENGLAND 2018 (!st ODI)

Might be tempted to play Kuldeep, Chahal in Tests - Kohli

Virat Kohli has hinted at the possibility of one or both wrist spinners featuring in the Test matches against England
England's struggle against India's twin wrist spinners - Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal - has been highlighted time and again during the limited overs games in England. The Chinaman bowler especially has left England in trouble, with the batsmen failing to pick his variations, and succumbing to his guile.
In the first ODI, this was on view again. Kuldeep had England in tatters after a strong start, taking six for 25 and paving the way for India's comfortable win on a batting paradise at Trent Bridge.

Vector(Physics)

Vectors

Vector, in physics, a quantity that has both magnitude and direction. It is typically represented by an arrow whose direction is the same as that of the quantity and whose length is proportional to the quantity’s magnitude. Although a vector has magnitude and direction, it does not have position. That is, as long as its length is not changed, a vector is not altered if it is displaced parallel to itself.

In contrast to vectors, ordinary quantities that have a magnitude but not a direction are called scalars. For example, displacementvelocity, and acceleration are vector quantities, while speed (the magnitude of velocity), time, and mass are scalars.

To qualify as a vector, a quantity having magnitude and direction must also obey certain rules of combination. One of these is vector addition, written symbolically as A + B = C (vectors are conventionally written as boldface letters). Geometrically, the vector sum can be visualized by placing the tail of vector B at the head of vector A and drawing vector C—starting from the tail of A and ending at the head of B—so that it completes the triangle. If AB, and C are vectors, it must be possible to perform the same operation and achieve the same result (C) in reverse order, B + A = C. Quantities such as displacement and velocity have this property (commutative law), but there are quantities (e.g., finite rotations in space) that do not and therefore are not vectors.

Shocking News by NTA(regarding JEE mains & NEET) and other competitive exams

New NET, NEET, JEE (Mains) Schedule Out as National Testing Agency Takes Over; Students Free to Pick Dates

New Delhi: Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday announced that the newly constituted National Testing Agency (NTA) would start conducting NEET, JEE (Mains) and NET entrance exams, which are currently organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), from the upcoming academic session.

Addressing a press conference, Javadekar said the National Eligibility Test (NET) would be conducted in December, the JEE (Mains) would be conducted in January and April, and NEET would be held in February and May.
Students can appear for JEE and NEET twice a year and the best score will be considered for admission.

The JEE (Advanced) will continue to be conducted by the IITs.
The NTA would also conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), Javadekar said.

The Union minister added that all these exams would be computer-based and that students can practice at home or at authorised computer centres free of cost. The details of such centres would be announced soon.

Javadekar said the syllabus, question format, language and fees won't change. Each exam will be conducted on four to five dates.

He assured that the format would be immune to cheating and leaks since it’s computer-based. Reminded that the Class 10 examinations, too, were computer-based but plagued by cheating scandals, Javadekar said the NTA module doesn’t allow screen-sharing.

He added, "The exams will be more secure and at par with international norms. There will be no issues of leakage and it would be more student friendly, open, scientific and a leak-proof system."

“These examinations will use highly secured IT software and encryption to ensure delivery of tests just in time. This will ensure no leakages and other malpractices,” a press release by the ministry said.

“NTA will establish a network of test practice centres for students of rural areas so that everyone will have an opportunity to practice before the exam. Schools/engineering colleges with computer centres would be identified and kept open on Saturday/Sunday starting from 3rd week of August. Any student can use the facility free of charge,” it added.

As per the press release, the following is the tentative schedule:
